Inventor Item Locations Guide: How to Unlock Every Skill

Soulstones

Items: Fire Soulstone, Ice Soulstone, and Thunder Soulstone Location: Black Market - New Delsta Flats, Brightlands Price: 700 per Soulstone or 2,100 in total

Soulstones are sold in the Black Market at New Delsta Flats, Brightlands. The market can only be accessed at night so don't forget to change the time from day to evening. If the merchant that sells the soulstones isn't at the Black Market, simply change the time again and again until the merchant that sells soulstones shows up.

A Rainbow Glass Bottle can be obtained from Conning Creek: Harbor, Harborlands. You can find the item inside a chest by the shore.

Empowering Lychee

Empowring Lychees can be found anywhere in Solistia. If you don't have one though, you can fast travel to Beastling Village in Toto'haha then exit to North Beastling Traverse. Follow the road up north until you see a chest by the shore. Open it to get an Empowering Lychee.

Tin Toy

Item: Tin Toy Location: Department Store - Wellgrove, Leaflands

The Tin Toy can be obtained from the Department Store in Wellgrove, Leaflands at night after completing Chapter 3 of Partitio's storyline. Use Path Actions like Osvald's Mug or Agnea's Enreat to get the item from the merchant.

Mythical Horn

Item: Mythical Horn Location: Nameless Village, Toto'haha

The Mythical Horn can be obtained from a chest in the Nameless Village, Toto'haha that's being guarded by a beastling. Use Path Actions like Throne's Ambush or Hikari's Challenge to knock out the beastling, then safely get the Mythical Horn from the chest they're guarding.

Soldier's Bow

Great Blade

A Great Blade can be obtained from one of the soldiers near the inn in Sai, Hinoeuma. This soldier will only show up at night so the only way you can get this is by using Osvald's Mug or Agnea's Entreat.

A Scrap Metal can be obtained from the man outside the Weapons Shop in Clockbank: Industrial District, Brightlands. You can take the item from him using Path Actions like Osvald's Mug or Throne's Steal.

Ancient Cog

Item: Ancient Cog Location: Roque Island, Harborlands

Use Osvald's Mug or Agnea's Entreat to get the item from a Factory Worker NPC in Roque Island, Harborlands at night.

If you're using Osvald's Mug, we recommend equipping him with the a Gleaming Amulet to greatly reduce the light damage dealt to him.

The Gleaming Amulet can be found in the Sacred Guard Headquarters in Stormhail, Winterlands once you've unlocked the Forbidden Shrine during Temenos' Chapter 3 storyline.

Natural Magnetite

Item: Natural Magnetite Location: Unfinished Tunnel - Southern Crackridge Wilds, Wildlands

Take down the NPC guarding the entrance of the Unfinished Tunnel in Southern Crackridge Wilds, Wildlands using Throne's Ambush, Hikari's Challenge, or Ochette's Provoke.

Enter the tunnel and follow the railroad down south. Go down the wooden planks to your right, then down another plank again to your south. Keep moving left until you see a ladder. Climb it and open the chest to get a Natural Magnetite.

How to Unlock Inventor Skills

Examine Glass Enclosures at the Inventor Guild

Once you have all the items needed for an Inventor Skill, examine the glass enclosure associated with that particular skill in the Inventor Guild located at Eastern New Delsta Highroad, Brightlands.

Once you've unlocked a Job Skill, you can use it anytime in battle at 0 SP cost! Hwoever, do remember that each skill costs a turn every time you use it.
