Defeat as Fast as Possible

The gimmick for this chapter's boss is the rain slowly decreases your party's maximum HP. There's no way to prevent this, and it sort of acts like a timer for the battle. The longer the battle lasts, the lower your party's HP becomes, the harder it is to survive Trousseau's vicious attacks. Make sure to bring your heavy hitting characters that can deal the most damage in the shortest amount of turns to quickly finish the battle.

Utilize Skills that Protect from Ailments

Trousseau has a lot of skills that apply multiple ailments to multiple characters. Utilize skills such as the Apothecary's Rehabilitate or Castti's Cleansing Leaf Medical Concoction to protect your best characters during the fight.

At the midpoint of the battle, Trousseau transforms and becomes a lot more powerful. His shield is much higher and his prepared attacks can end the fight in an instant.
