Break with Multi-Hit Attacks
The Deep One isn't a complicated fight. Its difficulty comes from the fact that it has a high shield value and high HP. In addition, halfway through the fight, it will start taking multiple actions in a single turn. The key to surviving the fight is always breaking it as fast as you can. Utilize and boost skills such as the Warrior's Aggressive Slash or the Hunter's Precise Shot to significantly decrease its shield value in one turn.
If you have Temenos as a Scholar, you can use his Latent Power and boost the Scholar's Elemental Barrage skill for up to decrease the Deep One's shield value up to 8 times in a single turn.
Utilize Deal More Damage Support Skill
As mentioned, the Deep One has a high HP. Equipping the Deal More Damage Warrior support skill to your heavy hitters will allow you to deal large amounts of damage in a single turn, keeping the fight at a manageable length.
