Ochette Chapter 3 Walkthrough
Chapter Summary and Introduction
The Night of the Scarlet Moon is at hand. Ochette must now face the calamity with all Creatures of Legend and save her village.

Beastling Village
| Objectives | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Go to Juvah. When you arrive in the Beastling Village, go to Juvah who is resting at his usual spot by the cliff west of the village. |
| 2 |  Follow Juvah. After the conversation, Juvah will disappear. Go through the Path to the Tomb of the Wardenbeasts and to the Summit of Strife. After another cutscene, the Night of the Scarlet Moon will commence. |

| 1 |  Defeat the monsters ravaging the island. From here on out, any enemy you encounter you must defeat. You cannot flee from any fight and must fight your way through the Verdant Wood and to the Moonview Cliff. |
Moonview Cliff

| 1 |  Defeat the darkling. Here it is revealed that the herald of all this destruction and chaos is the animal guide you didn't choose at the beginning of Ochette's tale. You must defeat either Mahina or Akala in their demon form to conclude Ochette's journey. |
| 2 |  Befriend the darkling. After the battle subsides, Ochette feels responsible for the suffering this creature has to endured. She tries to befriend it to give it a decent farewell before it dies. |
| 3 |  Conclude Ochette's journey. After saving the island, Ochette now vows to be its protector from that point on. She's off to a new hunt. |

How to Beat Lajackal or Malamaowl of the Sorrowful Moon
Save Boosts for Breaking either Boss
As much as possible, save your boosts for breaking the enemy with multiple attacks. If you have abilities that already attack an enemy more than once regardless of Boost, it is highly advised to use them. It also helps having a Merchant in your party to donate BP to a particular party member that has a better chance at breaking an enemy.
Use Soulstones when Enemy is Broken
Once the enemy is broken, unless you are confident with the stats and buffs that your equipment provides, it is a recommended alternate strategy to pepper the enemy with as many large Soulstones as you have as it can easily deal 5400 damage per large Soulstone.
Heal Your Party Members Immediately
Occasionally, the Boss will prey on one of your party members, immediately making them go down to 1 HP, and they may fall the next time the Boss attacks, so immediately heal the party member that the Boss preyed on to prevent their death.
