In Octopath Traveler 2, players can buy their own ship by doing Partitio's Scent of Commerce in Toto'haha. Read on to learn how to get your own ship and all the extra features you get from buying one.

Unlock Vessel by Completing Scent of Commerce in Toto'haha

How to Get the Ship

Have Partitio in the party and fast travel to Tropu'hopu at the Toto'haha region.

Go to the shipyard by going to the right. Afterward, a scene will play out.

After watching the scene, proceed further to the dock and talk to a standing NPC named Terry.

Use Partitio's Path Action on Terry to purchase the ship for 100,000 Leaves.

Players can buy a ship for 100,000 Leaves by having Partitio in the party and doing his first Scent of Commerce.

Players can hire an NPC that gives discounts to purchase the ship for a lower price. There are a few NPCs inside Tropu'hopu that you can hire to get you a discount when purchasing the ship from Terry.

The Sailor gives a 5% chance to get 50% off purchases, while the Merchant guarantees a 20% discount when hired.
