Hikari is introduced as the Crowned Prince of the Kingdom of Ku. Though trained to be a warrior, Hikari is known more for his gentle heart. In a turn of events, he and his kingdom is betrayed by his brother, General Mugen, who launches a coup.

In search of allies to help him retake the city of Ku, Hikari finds himself in the town of Montwise where Kazan, a former advisor and strategist of Ku, currently resides. But before Hikari can recruit his old friend, Kazan asks for a favor that makes his intentions unclear and his loyalty questionable.

| 2 | Defeat the Gladiators Kazan will volunteer Hikari to the ongoing gladiator games. Defeat all the gladiators including the chapter's boss. |
Going by the information provided by Kazan, Hikari travels to Wellgrove to stop a shipment of weapons on its way to Ku and to take it to Kazan instead to help them fight General Mugen and his army.
