Extra Stories Crossed Paths
・Unlocks after completing all the paths of all 8 travelers.
・Composed of 3 chapters with an epilogue that concludes the entire story of the game.		 ・Side stories that revolve around a specific pair of protagonists.
・ Offer a way to get to know more about the involved heroes.

Extra Stories are unlockable final chapters in Octopath Traveler 2. After completing the main stories of all 8 protagonists as well as the Crossed Paths side stories, you can now start on Extra Stories and work towards the final chapters of the game.

The Sundering Sea

It is recommended to tie any loose ends and finish all the side stories in all 8 regions before continuing with the Extra Stories. Once you begin the final stretch of the game, interacting with NPCs will be limited. You will not be able to continue side stories for the duration of the final three chapters.

However, you can continue doing side stories between the completion of the final chapter and just before you begin the epilogue.
