Chapter Summary and Introduction

Throne's journey to win her freedom leads to Winterbloom to meet up and assassin Father. But she may not be able to carry out her plan as intended.

Winterblooms

	Objectives
1	Make for the Snake's stronghold. Once you arrive in the town, head north to the Thieves' Quarters.

Winterblooms: Thieves Quarters

	Objectives
1	Deal with the assailants. You will have to Ambush all three thugs to progress the story.
2	Go to Father's location. After dealing with the thugs, head east to the Snowhare's Den.

Snowhare's Den

	Objectives
1	Ambush the guard. Go up to the den and ambush the lookout. This is the guard standing by the gate of the den, not the Thief on the path.
2	Head inside the Den Head right until you reach the save point, signaling that you are near the boss area.
3	Defeat Bergoni. After the fight with Bergoni, Father will show his true colors and send aknife towards Throne, stating that he has seen through her plot. He tells her to meet him in Montwise.

How to Beat Bergoni

Capitalize on Attacks that Hit More Than Once

Bergoni is sometimes granted the chance to attack consecutively in a single turn. This makes him a threat to characters with lower defenses. We recommend capitalizing in his weakness and focusing on attacks that land hits more than once despite not consuming BP.

Stock up on Healing Items ＆ Defensive Gear

Bergoni has the ability to heighten his Shield Points from 4 to 8 making him a harder enemy to beat because he can hit twice in a turn if you are not able to break him before his turn arrives. You can either stock up on defensive gear and healing items, or grind for a few levels until you can take the hit.
