One of your characters' EX Skills can be obtained by finding altars scattered all over the world that correspond to your select character's primary job.

These altars are marked on your map if one is near your location so try to find them and interact with the statue in it to get your traveler's EX Skill!

Make Sure You Have the Right Character in Your Party

Since EX Skills are character-exclusive, you need to make sure that you have the right character in your party before interacting with the statue at the altar. Change your party members at the nearest tavern and get one of your traveler's EX Skills!
