Chapter Summary and Introduction
On Partitio's first stop on his journey to enrich the world, he finds himself in a thriving but corrupt city with unfamiliar technological advancements where Roque has set shop. While trying to find a way to talk to Roque, Partitio also meets an engineer on the verge of improving a machine that can change the world, so he offers his assistance.

Look Around Town Head to the northwest side of town to trigger a cutscene that starts this chapter's story. |

Find Roque Visit the Roque Company factory and the Roque Company office to learn the whereabouts of Roque. |

Find Boiler Materials After meeting Floyd and offering your assitance, head southeast of the area to find a merchant in the Weapon Shop willing to sell you boiler materials. After acquiring the Clockite, deliver them back to Floyd. |

Escort the Clockmaker to Floyd Head west of Clockbank, the previous area, to find the Clockmaker. Use Path Action Hire to have the Clockmaker follow you back to Floyd. |

Make for the Roque Company Factory After celebrating with Floyd at the tavern, head back to the Roque Company factory. |

Find Floyd Explore the factory to find Floyd. Here, you'll have several combat encounters and find several chests. |

Defeat the Boss, Garnet Once you find Floyd at the back of the factory, you'll encounter the chapter's boss. There will be a Save Point just before the area where the battle will be triggered. Be sure to make a save before continuing. Defeat the Garnet to continue forward. If it proves to be difficult, it is recommended to wander around the factory to grind more EXP. |

How to Beat Garnet
Utilize Defensive Skills
At the later part of the battle, Garnet will have the ability to take three consecutive actions. This can be detrimental to your party as three consecutive attacks, if unlucky, can immediately take down several characters at the same time. During this phase of the battle, use what skills you have that can avoid, deflect, or help tank these consecutive attacks. One example is Partitio's Sidestep which allows him to completely dodge a physical attack.
Utilize High Defense Equipment
For the same reason above, before entering the battle, be sure that your characters are utilizing equipment that has the highest defense. This will help your party survive those nasty combo attacks.
