Use Osvald's Boosted Elemental Spells

Traveler Role and Explanation
Osvald Osvald 【Elemental Attacker】
・Destroy enemies using Osvald's elemental attacks.
・Uses Osvald's LP to destroy strong enemies in the second turn.
Throne Throne Temenos Temenos 【Main Buffer】
・Greatly increases the damage output due to Moonlight Judgement and Blessing of Darkness.
・Grants Players a chance to survive the first turn due to Blessing of Darkness' effects.

A party composition that excels very well at night time due to the benefits gained from Throne's Blessing of Darkness and Temenos' Moonlight Judgment, which gives the whole party a buff that strengthens all allies for 3 turns while inflicting debuffs on the enemy.

Boost Osvald's attack at the first turn with all the buffs that augment his attack power and unleash it all on the 2nd turn to wipe all enemies encountered. Since Moonlight Judgement inflicts a debuff that makes enemies miss, there's a likely chance that the party can survive the enemy's attack at the first turn.

Use Ochette and Hikari's Latent Power

Traveler Role and Explanation
Hikari Hikari Ochette Ochette 【Physical Attackers】
・Requires Merchant to be their secondary job to work.
・Makes full use of Latent Power to overwhelm enemies with their high physical attack.
Throne Throne Temenos Temenos 【Main Buffer】
・Greatly increases the damage output due to Moonlight Judgement and Blessing of Darkness.
・Grants Players a chance to survive the first turn due to Blessing of Darkness' effects.

This party composition focuses on dealing massive amounts of physical damage to your enemies by utilizing Hikari and Ochette's Latent Power. You'll need to assign Merchant on both of their secondary jobs to get them the skill Full Power to get them to use LP at the start of the fight. It's also recommended that you bring Throne and Temenos to your party, as they give you effects that buff your party and weaken the enemy.

The only problem with this build is that in order to get Merchant's Full Power, the game will require you to have 7 Skills, which totals 4,630 JP. Though it will take time to farm JP, you can always use Boost-Start, which automatically gives 1 BP at the start of the battle to increase the amount of damage you deal.

All Latent Powers Explained

Solar Ray Clock Spam

Traveler Role and Explanation
Ochette Ochette 【Main DPS】
・Uses Light Revenant to attack foes.
・Can carry until later parts of the game.
・Very broken in the early to mid stages.
Partitio Partitio 【BP Supporter】
・Main role is to use Donate BP to Ochette.
・Using Inventor allows him to act first.
Agnea Agnea 【Turn Order Manipulator】
・Makes use of Stimulate to change turn order.
・First to act most of the time due to her speed.
・Can also use Inventor for a guaranteed first in order.

This party composition requires Ochette to capture a Light Revenant to get the Solar Ray Clock skill that deals strong light damage to all foes and grants the party physical and elemental defense. Attempting to capture the monsters in the early game will obviously take some time before you can do so. But if you do manage to capture the monsters, the payoff will be extremely good, as the Light Revenant should be capable of carrying you until late game.

To make the most out of its damage output, you need to use Partitio's Donate BP on Ochette to increase her damage output. Since Agnea will most likely be first to act during a turn, you can use her skill Stimulate to make sure Partitio gets to go first, before Ochette or other monsters. If you can, it's also a good idea to have an Inventor in your party to get A Step Ahead and allow you to act first at the start of the battle.

Agnea has a wide variety of skills that grants Physical and Elemental attacks. It's recommended that you add an attacker that can utilize these buffs, such as Hikari, Ochette, or Throne to create synergy. To increase the physical attack of his allies, Partitio can supply BPs and use Hired Help: Ruffian to decrease enemy defenses. Paired with Agnea's buffs, you can create an opportunity that allows the attacker to use their full might against your enemy.

For healing, it's recommended that you pick Temenos as your healer due to his ability to grant allies damage mitigation buffs, which Agnea lacks. Additionally, Temenos applied with the Dancer's Sealticge's Seduction Divine Skill can easily break the shields of multiple enemies.

It's recommended that you pair Throne with Agnea, as both can increase the damage output of an attacker. Throne can use her skill to reduce an enemy's physical defense, while Agnea can increase the attack power of your chosen attacker.

Partitio can supply BPs to allow Throne to utilize her divine skill in the first turn which in some cases can eliminate multiple enemies immediately.

Temenos synergizes very well with Throne since both have access to night-only buffs, which extend to all party members. While this composition may lack a dedicated attacker that hits all enemies, Agnea can use her Latent Power and her Divine Skill to cover for this weakness.

His Latent Power, Concentrate Spells, allows him to turn his spells into a strong single-target skill that deals a massive amount of damage. Using party members that augment his skill is recommended when having him as your main attacker.

For buffs, we use Agnea's Peacock Strut to strengthen Osvald's elemental attacks. She can also manipulate the turn order using her Stimulate skill, allowing you to easily set up buffs for Osvald. You can then use Partitio for his BP-raising skills or Ochette to reduce your enemy's defense using her Latent Power.

We also have Temenos in the party for his incredible damage mitigation skills and party-wide heals. At night time, he can provide a debuff that weakens his enemies at the start of the battle.

Recommended party composition if Temenos is the main character is to use Temenos with Throne, as they both grant status effects that weaken enemies and strengthen allies at night.

To maximize the Temenos' Latent Power, we put Agnea in the party for her the Dancer's Sealticge's Seduction in addition to the other buffs she can contribute.

Partitio has the advantage of being able to work with any party member set up due to his job as a Merchant. He also has a powerful Latent Power that lets him instantly replenish an ally's BP.

It's recommended that you pair him up with Ochette, whose skill can capture monsters to use their strongest skills. At max BP, she can destroy her enemies instantly with the help of Partitio. The rest of the party members can be a preference on who to pick, but we suggest having another DPS that fully utilizes BP and a healer in the mix.

For the healing role, you can choose either Castti or Temenos, depending on your preference, as both work well with Ochette. Finally, we have Throne as the main Debuffer with her Armor Corrosive to reduce the physical defense of a single foe. Her EX skill Veil of Darkness also helps as a defensive tool against a physical attacker.

To make his damage even more effective, we can put Partitio in the party to increase his BP.

You can also use Donate BP on Castti instead and allow her to increase the number of concoctions she can make. Finally, we add Ochette to the mix due to her flexibility as a support DPS. This is due to the skill that allows her to capture monsters and use them in combat.

Once you familiarize yourself with how each character works, you can assign each on how they'll play in your team composition. To make it easier to know which role is best for a character, you'll need to look into what their kit does and how it affects other characters.

If a character has a lot of healing or augmenting skills in their kit, they should be under a support or healer role. Obviously, as you progress through the game, your character's set of skills will be more diverse, but having something already set is always a good start.

So, it doesn't seem like anyone has figured out that you don't have to keep the secondary job for the person if you just want one of their advanced skills, like Boost Start. I simply level up the char I want to have a quality from a secondary job until they get the perk I want them to have. I can have Ochette use max latent or max summon before the battle officially 'begins'. Feels a little broken at times, but in the best ways late game when I really don't want to long fight every.single.battle
