Chapter Summary and Introduction
Temenos has found himself in the midst of this mysterious serial murders once more. Looks like he'll finally solve the mystery of the Pontiff's death in Flamechurch.

| 1 |  Investigate the commotion. Townspeople will be clamoring by the chapel as an apothecary had just been murdered. Perplexed by this, Temenos still thinks that Lucian is the prime suspect to these killings. |
| 2 |  Investigate Lucian's house. Luckily Lucian's house is also in Canalbrine giving Temenos the perfect excuse to search his house for clues pointing to these murders. |
| 3 |  Search for clues. Upon learning that Lucian is also dead inside his house, Temenos must look for clues inside the house to help him understand the motives of the murderer. |
| 4 |  Coerce the hooded stranger in the Tavern. Get to the second floor of the tavern to find three hooded figures. Coerce the hooded stranger with a strength of 3.. |

How to Beat Vados the Architect
Break Multiple Units with Lightning
Having Ochette capture a Rock Tortoise can hit all the summoned enemies with lightning magic, breaking them and rendering them useless for the turn. These summoned units do not do much damage on their own, however they are meant to be thrown at you as elemental attacks.
Alternatively, you can recruit Osvald to deal lightning and ice-based magic to break and destroy them before they can be used for attacks.
Choose a Polearm and Dagger User
Other than Ice and Light, Vados the Architect is also vulnerable against polearm and dagger attacks. If you have a character that can use these weapons, you can easily break Vados with BP-powered attacks. Otherwise you can still use elemental magic to break and defeat him. Hikari, Throne, and Partitio are excellent party members to consider for this.
