Chapter Summary and Introduction
Agnea arrives in Merry Hills for the Grand Gala. Her journey so far has inspired the lyrics to Song of Hope
which she hopes to perform to become a star. Meanwhile, Dolcinaea has other plans.

Defeat the Hired Men As soon as Agnea arrives in Merry Hills, two thugs show up to give her trouble. Defeat the hired men to progress further. |

Create a Distraction Move north to the next area. More thugs will appear to stop Agnea from performing at the gala. Use Path Action Allure on Gil to have him create a distraction. |

Make for the Stage of the Grand Gala Head north through the next two areas and towards the stage for the Grand Gala. In the Shrine of Ul'sterra, you'll have several combat encounters and find several chests. |

Defeat Dolcinaea Twice At the end of the Stage of the Moon and Sun, you'll encounter the chapter's boss. Dolcinea has two forms that you'll need to defeat. There will be a Save Point just before the area where she confronts you. Be sure to make a save before continuing. Defeat the Dolcinea to continue forward. If it proves to be difficult, it is recommended to wander around the area to grind more EXP. |

How to Beat Dolcinaea
Share Roles In Your Party
Dolcinea has two forms with different sets of weaknesses. In addition, she has the ability to momentarily take away one of your party members or even utilize them against you. Make sure you have at least two healers, two heavy hitters and so on to make sure you can survive the battle even with an incomplete party.
Best Party Setup and Team Composition
Immediately Defeat Captured Ally
Dolcinea's second form can capture one of your characters and use them against you. This means not only do you have less characters to fight with, but she'll have an additional unit to take actions against you. Make sure to focus fire on the captured ally to get them back immediately.
Utilize Skill and Items that Nullify Ailments
Dolcinea has several skills that can apply annoying ailments to your party. This can be devastating especially if she's already taken away one of your characters. Use abilities such as the Apothecary's Rehabilitate and items such as Herb Elixir to immediately get rid of of these ailments and protect your characters from them as well.
