During Agnea's first chapter, you'll be required to use your Allure Path Action to gather villagers for the festival in order to progress. Allured characters can normally help during combat, but for the first chapter, it's only used to bring villagers to the festival. This Path Action has a chance of success that's dependent on Agnea's current level.

Your companion for the chapter, Gus, has the skill Chop Wood that used at the right time, can potentially deal the most damage. Supply him with the Agnea's Lion Dance skill which increases his physical attack, break the Duorduor's shield, and apply maximum boost to the Chop Wood
skill for a lot of damage.
The tough boss in this chapter makes for a long battle. This makes buff and debuff skills very useful especially when boosted for increased duration.
Duorduor is a tough boss with a high HP and Shield value. Even if you're able to deal high amounts of damage every turn, it will still get enough turns to deplete both of your characters' HP. Make sure you're stocked with heals before entering the battle.
