Hikari Chapter 1 Walkthrough
Chapter Summary and Introduction
Hikari is introduced as the Crowned Prince of the Kingdom of Ku. Though trained to be a warrior, Hikari is known more for his gentle heart. In a turn of events, he and his kingdom is betrayed by his brother, General Mugen, who launches a coup.

| 1 |  Defeat the Enemy Soldiers You along with your allies Ritsu and Rai Mei, must defeat the enemy soldiers. After a few battles, the general of the Southern Army will face you himself. Defeat him to progress the story. |

| 1 |  Make for the Tavern After a time jump, Hikari, while teaching the townspeople how to fight, is informed that a brawl has broken out in the local tavern. Make your way to the southwest side of the city to find the tavern. |
| 2 |  Challenge Mugen's Soldier. After entering the tavern, use Path Action Challenge on the oppressive soldier to initiate a battle. Defeat the soldier. |
| 3 |  Make for the Western Keep Once the trouble ends, Benkei asks you to meet him in the western keep. Head up to the western stairs to find Benkei and the Emperor. |
| 4 |  Find Someone Who Knows Mugen's Plot The Emperor will inform you of a conspiracy within Mugen's army. Head north to Castle Ku to find someone who might have some information about this. |

| 1 |  Follow and Bribe the Castle Merchant After witnessing the conversation, follow the merchant to the building and use Path Action Bribe to receive information about the plot brewing within Mugen's army. You'll be informed that the Mugen meets with his army in the Crest of Heroes. Head south to the Southern Ku Sands. |

| 1 |  Make for the Crest of Heroes and Defeat the Boss Head southeast of Southern Ku Sands and up the hill where you'll encounter the chapter's boss. There will be a Save Point before you reach the top. Be sure to make a save before continuing. Defeat the boss to continue forward. If it proves to be difficult, it is recommended to wander around the desert to grind more EXP. |

How to Beat Ritsu Mishuyo
Utilize and Boost Aggressive Slash Skill
In addition to Ritsu, the boss battle in this chapter will have two other units with 1 shield point each with all enemies being weak against Swords. Hikari's Aggressive Slash skill deals sword damage to multiple enemies at random. Boosting this skill will increase the number of strikes and will almost always guarantee damage and breaking at least the two Footmen.
Bring Healing Items
Hikari doesn't have any companions at this stage of the game to heal himself. The boss in chapter 1 is tough and will make for a long battle. So be sure to bring items to heal him during the fight. You can also learn First Aid from the Apothecary in Ku: Castle Town using the Challenge Path Action.
Get Arrow Volley
Arrow Volley is an Arrow-damage skill that Ritsu Mishiyo and the 2 Ritsu's Footman are weak to. Since the skill hits multiple opponents, you can break both of the Ritsu's Footman immediately. You can get this skill from the Guard at the top of the castle wall in Ku: Castle Town.
