The AQ Soldier Kills stat tracks the number of AI enemies you and your squad eliminate while taking Strongholds or Black Sites in Warzone 2.0 Battle Royale. To view the number of AQ Soldiers you've killed, simply open the scoreboard and it should display the number of AQ Soldier Kills you have.
Killing an AQ soldier will give you a base of 100 XP during the post-match XP tally. Killing them using headshots or longshots, will reward you with additional XP. While definitely a bonus, you will still earn more match XP if you kill other Operators.
While it is entirely optional to kill AQ Soldiers during the match, it will be required if you want to secure Strongholds or Black Sites during the Battle Royale match. Securing these locations will net your squad certain advantages such as getting access to full loadouts or being able to loot high-tier equipment.
AQ Soldiers will start spawning in when Strongholds unlock during a Warzone 2.0 BR match. They can be found guarding the inside of Strongholds, and will also deploy via light helo around the perimeter of the fortified position. They must be killed in order to secure the Stronghold.
Strongholds Guide and List of Locations
Black Sites will also have AQ Soldiers guarding them. On top of the usual guard detail, a Juggernaut will also spawn in these locations, making them out more dangerous to secure than a Stronghold.
However, despite the danger, Black Sites are high risk, high reward options in BR mode as players can earn rare items like the unique Vaznev-9K blueprint if they secure it.
