How to Get Silkshot (Mount Fay)

Acquire the Ruined Tool

Ruined Tool Location

To craft the Silkshot, players must acquire the Ruined Tool in Bilewater. Then, they must take it to either the Twelfth Architect, the Forge Daughter, or the workbench at Mount Fay to craft one of three variants of the Silkshot.

Repair It at Mount Fay with One Craftmetal

Silkshot Mount Fay Location

Taking it to the crafting table at Mount Fay with one craftmetal will give players a variant of the Silkshot that fires one piercing shot, similar to a railgun. The crafting table can be found in a cave beneath the peak of Mount Fay, where players obtain the Faydown Cloak.

Irreversible After Crafting

Because there is only one Ruined Tool, crafting any version of the Silkshot is irreversible. Be sure to assess each Silkshot's properties and how they fit into your playstyle.

How to Use the Silkshot (Mount Fay)

Snipe Enemies in a Line

The Silkshot forged at Mount Fay charges upon activation before firing a beam of silk that pierces enemies. This does the largest amount of damage in one instance among all variants of the Silkshot.

Delay Your Fall

Because this Silkshot needs time to charge, shooting it in while airborne will cause Hornet to suspend in the air. This is can be used when players jump too early, or if the entire ground becomes a danger zone to allow Hornet to stay in the air longer while dealing damage.

So yes you can only get one of the 3 variants per playthrough it will take 3 playthroughs to get all 3 variants
