Finish the Final Quest

To get the secret ending to God of War Ragnarok, you need to finish the final quest for the main story of the game, which involves defeating the final boss, Odin.

Talk to Lunda in Any of the Shop

Once you're in the post-game after finishing the final quest and defeating Odin, head to any of the shops that the dwarves previously used and talk to Lunda.

This will prompt a side quest you can complete named "A Viking Funeral", where you talk to a bunch of characters and attend Brok's funeral.

The next step is to complete all the objectives needed to complete the side quest. First, you'll have to travel to Raeb's tavern in Svartalfheim and meet up with Durlin, Raeb, and Lunda.

After a brief conversation, they'll tell you to go to Sverd Sands next, where a Funeral will take place for Brok.

Watch the Cutscene for the Secret Ending

Once you are at the Sverd Sands to attend the funeral and pay your respects, a cutscene will take place where Sindri will appear to send his brother off in their final parting. Afterward, the screen will fade to black, where a continuation of the final credits will roll for the last time, marking the conclusion of God of War Ragnarok's story.

After watching the cutscene and completing the favor, players will be able to achieve the "Funeral for a Friend" silver trophy.
