When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Tea Veronica are +Spd and -Def. Tea Veronica has base 48 Spd which is raised to base 52 after a superboon, allowing her to keep up with all the fast metagame units, preventing their follow-up attacks and generating her own follow-up attacks on slower foes.
With only base 38 HP and 21 Def, Tea Veronica is vulnerable to physical attacks even if you invest in her physical bulk. As a result, we recommend a Def bane as it won't impact any of her matchups.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Tea Veronica up to +10 to ensure she keeps up with the fastest metagame units.

Tea Veronica is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Tea Veronica's exclusive weapon Princess Teapot grants her an extra action whenever she uses a Rally or movement Assist, and grants 【Resonance: Blades】, 【Resonance: Shields】, and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack
to herself, her ally, and all allies within 2 spaces of herself and the target ally whenever she uses or is the target of a Rally or movement Assist.
In combat, Princess Teapot grants Tea Veronica up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14 (based on number of foes within 3 rows or 3 columns) and grants Tea Veronica up to +25 bonus true damage and +15 bonus true damage reduction (based on Bonuses on her and Penalties on her foe).
Bonus stats, true damage, and true damage reduction are now staple effects for modern metagame units, and Tea Veronica has all of them on top of all her other effects, making her competitive against most foes.
Tea Veronica's exclusive Special Immurement boosts damage by 70% of her Atk, neutralizes her foe's percentage-based damage reduction effects, neutralizes Guard effects, and grants her up to 80% damage reduction based on number of foes within 2 spaces of the target foe that have the 【Feud】 debuff.
More importantly, at start of turn and after each of Tea Veronica's actions, Immurement inflicts Spd/Res-7, 【Feud】, and 【Discord】 on closest foes and foes within 2 spaces of those foes.
These effects are great against cleansing effects, as they are applied mid-turn and are not cleansed by start of turn or start of phase cleansing effects which are common in today's metagame.
Tea Veronica takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
