The best IVs for Summer Norne are +Spd and -HP. A +Stk IV superboon boosts her already high Spd to greater levels that are only matched by the speediest heroes in the game. Her defenses are balanced; thus, taking a -HP bane is the best option.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV if merging Summer Norne to +10. This is for the same reasons as above; having a +IV in Spd maximizes her Spd and prevents follow-up attacks while increasing her chances to perform a follow-up attack of her own.

How to Use, Explanation

This budget build utilizes ally positioning to maximize passive stats. Having adjacent allies will activate the two bond skills and Shellpoint Lance+ at the same time. Quick Riposte is used to counter follow-up negation, allowing Norne to use her high Spd stat to win Spd checks and double her enemies.

How to Use, Explanation

This build takes advantage of Norne's great offensive stat spread to apply Spd-based damage reduction through Spurn. Norne's Spd is boosted through a Spd-refined Slaying Lance+, Atk/Spd Menace and Atk/Spd Solo 3. Distant Stance allows Norne to counterattack against all foes, while Slaying Lance+ reduces the cooldown of Ruptured Sky to 1 charge, allowing Norne to retaliate with it right away. Replacing Reposition with a dual rally+ skill such as Rally Atk/Spd+ will maximize Arena scoring with this build.

Summer Norne is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

High Spd stat

Summer Norne has a high Spd stat at base 39. This can be raised to as much as 52 with a +Spd IV, 10 merges, dragonflowers, and a Spd-refined weapon. With summoner support, it can be raised even higher to 54!

Having a high Spd stat allows Summer Norne to win Spd checks and perform follow-up attacks much easier, as well as prevent more follow-up attacks applied to her. A higher Spd stat also allows Summer Norne to reduce damage reduction from the foe's Spd-based damage reduction skills such as Spurn 3.

Shellpoint Lance+ boosts Atk and Def
