When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

Neutral IVs by default!

As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, New Year Eir will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Spd/-Def

The best IVs for New Year Eir are +Spd and -Def. A higher Spd stat allows New Year Eir to get a ton of follow-up attacks on her foes. It also protects her from hostile follow-up attacks. Her Def is very low and she is not built to tank physical attacks to begin with so it can be safely taken as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging New Year Eir to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. With this IV, she will reach 43 Spd which is at a level wherein she can score follow-up attacks if she has ample support from allies. You can also go for a +Res stat if you prefer her being a bulky magic wall.

How to Use, Explanation

This build maximizes NY Eir's attacking ability. Fury will increase Eir's stats while also making it easier to reach the HP threshold to activate both Desperation and Brazen. Barb Shuriken will make it easier for her special to trigger, so each follow-up attack granted from Desperation should trigger a special and allow you to spread debuffs on foes.

How to Use, Explanation

This is NY! Eir's base set. Using Temari and Tactic skills to support her allies, she will be able to attack and even tank Green Mages thanks to G Tomebreaker. To increase this effect even further, you can refine Eir's weapon with the +Res refine.

How to Use, Explanation

This build aims to give New Year Eir the highest score possible in the Arena. R Duel Flying 4 will make up for her low BST, while the rest of the kit has premium skills to help her become a debuffing support while also giving her a high score. We recommend the +Res Refine

While NY! Eir's weapon Temari+ has no unique effect refine, we recommend going with the +Res refine if you do choose to refine it. Doing so will give Eir an additional +3 Res, and combined with the effects of Brazen Atk/Res, will raise her total Res to 44, further increasing the scope of Temari+.

NY! Eir is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

New Year Eir Strengths

Has multiple debuff skills

NY! Eir's weapon skill Temari inflicts Atk/Spd-5 on foes that are adjacent to each other when their Res is 3 or more lower than Eir's. Additionally, she inflicts Def/Res-7 on a foe and nearby foes after combat, meaning that her weapon skill alone can debuff all of a foe's stats.

Gets a huge bonus to Atk and Res

NY Eir's A skill Brazen Atk/Res 3 will give her Atk/Res+7 in combat when her HP gets below 80%. This wil make it easier for her to damage enemies and further increase her high Res stat, allowing her to safely combat magic attackers.

Can buff her allies' Spd

NY! Eir's C skill Spd Tactic will give Spd+6 to allies within two spaces. This is a huge buff that will make it easier to gain follow-up attacks against the foes, but keep in mind that requires the number of allies with a certain movement type on a team be equal to or less than two. Therefore, this skill is ideal for a mixed movement type party.
