+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Python are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Python to get a ton of follow-up attacks on his foes. It also protects him from hostile follow-up attacks. His Res of is less importance and thus safe to be taken as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Python to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. With it, he can reach 42 Spd which is definitely at a fair level. With some support, he can nail lots of follow-up attacks.w If you prefer relying on skills to increase Pythons' Spd, you can go for a +Atk IV instead.

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Snide Bow

Refined Snide Bow inflicts a Spd/Def-5 penalty onto Python's foe and reverses bonuses on those stats by applying twice that amount as penalties.

This refine effect is serviceable and is better than most of his other options when opting into a high Def speedy bow cavalier. When opting for full offense, Whitecap Bow+ is better.

Because of his high range and superior mobility, he can take out lots of enemy units before they can get to your important units. Make sure to invest in him to make him more efficient in his chosen niches!

This makes Python a good counter for the high-speed L!Azura. Not to mention, Python both has a weapon strong against her flying attribute and a color advantage too! Utilize Python's great mobility to shoot down the countless L!Azura's in Aether Raids.
