+Spd/-Def

The best IVs for Halloween Mia are +Spd and -Def. A higher Spd stat allows Mia to prevent follow-up attacks against her and helps her make follow-up attacks on her own if needed. This boosts both her offensive and more importantly, defensive capabilities. This is important as her presence in the map is very imporatant for your team. Her low Def is of less importance, and it is very unreliable when it comes to survivability, so it is safe to take Def as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Halloween Mia to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. She will reach 41 Spd at 10 merges which is not bad. At this point, she can score a fair amount of follow-up attacks so inheriting Wrathful Staff 3 onto her may be a good idea.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a build for Halloween Mia that uses the Dazzling-Wrathful combo. Take the Dazzling Staff refine of Witchy Wand and then take Wrathful Staff 3. This, paired with Atk/Spd Push 4 will up Mia's offensive power. Savage Blow 3 will chip the enemy team's HP, while Guidance is good for more mobility.

Halloween Mia is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Halloween Mia Strengths

A Flying Unit that can Support Allies Easily

Halloween Mia is a flying unit, which makes it very easy to position her in ways that allow her to support her allies. The ability to position herself in most terrain makes it easy for her to heal allies or hinder the enemy team's ability to activate specials with Witchy Wand+. Having access to Hone Fliers means that she is a perfect fit for a support unit in an all-flying team.

Hinder Foes From Activating their Specials

Halloween Mia's default weapon, the Witchy Wand+ resets the special cooldown of the enemy when she attacks them. It also inflicts special cooldown charge -1 against same foe. This greatly hinders the ability of the target foe to activate their special attacks.

This is very useful not only in competitive game modes such as the Arena and Aether Raids, but also in PvE content such as Grand Hero Battles and Røkkr Sieges. In Grand Hero Battles, having the main enemy attack your unit with a special usually means game over especially at Lunatic difficulty and beyond. This is the same in Røkkr Sieges where a Røkkr's special attack can easily take out one of your units. Thus, having Halloween Mia who has these abilities on top of flying movement is very advantageous in said situations.

Gains a Spd and Res boost when an ally is adjacent

Halloween Mia's Spd/Res Bond gives her +5 Spd and Res when an ally is in an adjacent space. This bonus only applies during combat, meaning that other buff skills can stack, and it will not make Mia and saidally susceptible to the effects of skills like Panic Ploy.

As a flying unit, Halloween Mia takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
