★ How to Get Weapon Cases
Players can deploy a Nuke by completing the Champion's Quest contract in Warzone 2.0. Read on to learn how to get the nuke, tips and strategies for acquiring it, and the rewards for successfully dropping it on the map!
|
In order to start assembling the Nuke, you will have to trigger the Champion's Quest contract which you can get by winning 5 consecutive matches of Warzone BR in a row. This will activate when you queue up for the 6th consecutive game.
As soon as you drop in Al Mazrah, you will need to locate 3 Elements to assemble the nuke. The locations for these elements will be marked on your minimap - take note that grabbing these elements will trigger a side-effect on the player carrying it.
Elements | Effect on Player Carrying |
---|---|
Beryllium | Places a Tracking Device on you that reveals your location to in enemy players' Tac-Maps. |
Plutionium | Emits a radiation effect which damages your health and armor and impairs your vision. |
Tritium | Scrambles your minimap and Tac-Map, similar to the effects of a Counter-UAV. |
Each time you grab an Element, there will be a short countdown before the next element appears on your Tac-Map. If you get killed while carrying an element, an enemy squad will be able to get a hold of the element.
Once you have all three elements, the location of the nuke will show up on the map. You and your team have 5 minutes to reach and assemble the nuke. Do note that the nuke's location will be revealed to all players in the match, so try to be quick before everyone secures it.
Bear in mind that doing all the previous tasks will take a lot of time, so by the time you're tasked with locating the nuke, it will probably be on the 4th or 5th circle and the area of play would be a lot smaller. Expect heavy resistance when finding the nuke!
After assembling the nuke, it will be armed and you will need to defend it for 2 minutes. During this time, other players can attempt to defuse the nuke and prevent it from going off.
Sometimes the nuke will spawn out in the open, so defending this as a solo player would be difficult as you won't be having a lot of cover from enemy fire.
After successfully defending for 2 minutes, the nuke will be dropped on Al Mazrah and you'll win the match!
|
Fulfilling all the requirements for getting the nuke is undeniably a tall order but can be more manageable with a coordinated squad. Finding a party with the same goals as you gives you a higher chance of succeeding over queueing up with random players.
As mentioned above, Each element has its own effect and while you can carry all 3 of them, it would be best to divide the elements among your squad in order not to burden one member who's carrying all the elements.
Overall, working together in a team increases your chance of successfully bringing all 3 elements to assemble the nuke.
Dropping a nuke hinges on how much preparation you do before the first element is revealed on your map. Before you start gathering the elements, make sure you and your squad are properly kitted.
Obtain your loadouts via Loadout Drop Markers or clearing Strongholds. While doing so, make sure to stock up on extra Equipment, Armor Plates, and Killstreaks since it will be difficult to get to the Nuke assembly phase.
Given how time-limited a BR game is and the large amount of players on the map, you'll want to find a vehicle for you and your squad. Use it to travel around Al-Mazrah quickly and safely, while grabbing all the elements for the Nuke.
Once you and your squad successfully drop the Nuke, an exclusive victory screen will pop up. Instead of Warzone Victory, you will get a convincing Champion's Domination victory message accompanied by a video of the nuke's fiery aftermath in the background.
Aside from the cutscene and enormous XP for dropping the nuke, players will also get the following Nuke-themed customization rewards:
You can immediately equip these items in Warzone 2 and show everyone that you're one of the few that managed to deploy a nuke in Battle Royale!
