★ How to Get Weapon Cases
Weapon Tuning allows players to modify any Gunsmithable Weapon that has reached its max level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Read on to learn more about weapon tuning and how to access it.
List of Contents
Weapon Tuning allows players to modify the attributes of a weapon and adjust them to a player's liking. Once a weapon has reached its Max Level, players can utilize Weapon Tuning and tweak the attributes each attachment affects.
An example of this are the two sliders for the weight and length of a weapon's Barrel. Tuning the weight slider will affect its Movement Speed and Recoil while tuning its length slider affects both Aim Down Sight Time and Damage Range.
Damage | The amount of damage done onto enemies |
---|---|
Fire Rate | The speed at which your weapon can fire rounds |
Range | How far your gun's bullets can reach |
Accuracy | How precise your weapon's aiming is, and how close to the reticle your bullets stay |
Recoil Control | How much your weapon moves while recoiling from firing a shot |
Mobility | How easily and quickly you can move around while equipped with the weapon |
Handling | How quickly you can aim and reload your weapon |
From the main menu, head to the Weapons tab, then select Multiplayer Loadout. Once Weapon Tuning is unlocked, a Tune button can be found on tunable Attachments. Select this button to get to the Tuning Menu where you will see a radar graph that shows an Attachment's stats.
Adjusting an attribute will decrease a different attribute on the opposing side so players should keep an eye on which attribute they want to maintain at a high level. Again, Weapon Tuning is only available upon reaching a weapon's Max Level so make sure to progress through the levels to begin modifying your weapons!
