Linen is a Crafting Material in Manor Lords. See how to get Linen and how to use it as you expand your territory!
To produce Linen, you first need to farm and harvest Flax then have it converted into Linen in a Weaver's Workshop.
The first step to making Linen is building a field and farmhouse in the right location to plant and harvest Flax . Linen starts out as Flax, so you have to build your farm on top of land with high Flax fertility.
You can check out which areas have high fertility while you're plotting your field. The view options will be on the right side of your screen. The greener the area, the better it is for planting Flax.
Click on your field and choose Flax as its crop, then assign some families to your farmhouse. The more families you have working in the farmhouse, the faster you can harvest your Flax.

It is recommended that you construct a Weaver's Workshop near your Farmhouse, as it can help you efficiently transfer and convert Flax into Linen.

If you have a surplus of Regional Wealth, you can opt to build a Trading Post and import Linen directly. This can help supply Linen to your Weaver's Workshop, especially if your farm is not producing enough Flax to produce a steady supply of Linen.

If your region is not ideal for planting Flax, you can still get Linen by importing Flax. This way your Weaver's Workshop can still get a supply of Flax to convert into Linen.
