How to Get Rid of Homelessness in Manor Lords

Build Burgage Plots to House Families

When starting a game, a Homeless People's Tent is the default housing for your families. A note on the top of your screen will show how many homeless families are in your settlement.

To get rid of the homelessness in your settlement, build Burgage Plots that will house these families. Over time, the families will occupy these plots, gradually decreasing the homelessness rate of your settlement.

How to Fix Settlers Not Moving In

Reload Save File

In order to correct this, the current method is to save your game and reload the save file. Thereafter, your settlers should now be moved into their respective Burgage Plots and the game will no longer tag them as homeless.

Visual Bug

When homelessness won't go away even after building burgage plots or reloading a save, it may be a visual bug. Fortunately, it is scheduled to be fixed in the next patch, stay tuned for future updates!
