Weapons can be equipped by militia for combat in Manor Lords. See how to make weapons and armor for your militia in this guide!
List of Contents
Outside of importing, you can make weapons and armor in Manor Lords by following these steps:
When starting to make weapons, make sure that you have level 2 Burgage Plots. Their backyard extensions are needed to provide Workshop spaces to create weapons.
How to Upgrade Your Burgage Plots
Afterwards, you need to secure the required resources for your weapons. You can choose to import these materials but we highly recommend constructing buildings to acquire them instead.
You will need a Mining Pit to get Iron Ore from Iron deposits and a Bloomery to process Iron Ore into Iron Slabs. As for Planks, you will need a Sawpit that processes Timber that Logging Camps cut from nearby trees.

Most armor can be made just like weapons. You only need the corresponding materials and backyard extension. However, making helmets and armor requires development points invested in Armormaking.
Militia | Weapons |
---|---|
Militia Footmen | Sidearms, Small Shields |
Spear Militia | Spears, Large Shields |
Polearm Militia | Polearms |
Archer Militia | Warbows |
Different types of militia will need different types of weapons. For example, Militia Footmen will require sidearms and small shields for all the men, so you'll need to have a Blacksmith and a Joiner in your town. Make sure to produce the right weapons for your army so they'll be properly equipped for battle.
