Manor Lords - Attack

Attack determines the melee attack power of your units. Attack is the main unit used in computing damage, and is affected by other stats, namely Effectiveness, Backstabbing, Block, and the enemy's Armor.

How to Make Weapons

Ranged Attack

Manor Lords - Ranged Atk

Ranged Attack is similar to a unit's Attack stat, but is used for computing ranged damage, primarily for warbows. Ranged Attack is also affected by the same modifiers as attack, but also scales based on distance.

Warbows: How to Get and How to Use

Ranged Distance

A stat modifier that shows how far a soldier can shoot. The longer the distance is between the unit and the target, the higher the chance to miss.

Armor

Armor stands for the unit's defensive capabilities, and higher Armor decreases the amount of damage your unit receives.

Armor with higher defense and durability reduce damage further, but increases Fatigue generation for your units.

Anti Armor

Anti Armor is a stat modifier that determines how much Armor is ignored when computing for the damage dealt.

Shield

Manor Lords - Shields

Shield functions similar to Armor, but only reduces damage when the shield is facing the attacker.

Fatigue

Manor Lords - Fatigue

Fatigue shows how tired your units are, and affects your units' effectiveness, and speed in combat.

When units are fatigued due to prolonged combat, or from carrying a heavy armor, their effectiveness is reduced, making them weaker in combat.

Morale

Manor Lords - Morale

Morale indicates the will of your units to fight. Factors that affect unit morale include Approval Rating, Weather Conditions, Location, and outcomes of previous battles.

When Morale is low, your units may be unable to assume battle formations, and if Morale is fully depleted, your units may also flee the battlefield.

Charge

Charge determines the bonus damage dealt when due to charge impact.

Impaling

Impaling is the defensive counterpart of the Charge stat. Impaling determines the unit's resistance to charges, and provides an attack bonus to the defending unit when absorbing the charge of an enemy unit.

Backstabbing

Backstabbing is a stat that allows your units to deal double damage and ignores block when attacking units that are turned away from you.

Backstabbing can occur both for melee and ranged units.

Effectiveness

Manor Lords - Effectiveness

Effectiveness is the overall combat capability of your units in combat. This stat shows a general value for your unit's offensive and defensive capabilities, and is also affected by multiple factors.

Some factors that contribute to your unit's effectiveness include Fatigue, Cohesion, Surrounded, Soaking, and Climbing.
