How to Fix the Stuck Ox Bug

There's currently a bug in Manor Lords where your oxen can get stuck along the border. Check out what causes this bug and how to fix it.

How to Fix the Stuck Ox Bug

Demolish the Building It's Going To

Manor Lords - Demolish a Building
The best way to fix this bug is to demolish the building that the ox is going to, and then save and reload your game. When the building is destroyed, the ox will go back to its Hitching Post, or it will take the building materials to a different construction site.

Reassign Worker Guiding the Ox

Manor Lords - Reassign Worker
Another fix for this bug is to reassign the worker who's guiding the ox. This will cause a different worker to guide the ox, and potentially make it unstuck. The main downside, however, is that you'll need to look for the Burgage Plot that the worker lives in, and the fix doesn't work for everyone.

What Causes the Stuck Ox Bug?

Manor Lords - Ox is Stuck Along the Border
This bug occurs when an ox moves along the border of your region. We're not sure why exactly it gets stuck, but it might be because the worker, or ox, is accidentally pathing into a region that they can't go to.

As you can see in the image above, an ox is moving along the border, but it says that it's waiting for a guide even if there's one right in front of it. Avoid constructing buildings near the border so that this bug doesn't happen.
