How to Get Artisan Workshops and Extensions
Upgrade Burgage Plots to Level 2
Before getting Artisan extensions, you need to upgrade your Burgage Plots to Level 2. To do this, complete the requirements needed to upgrade:
- Water Access - build a Well
- Church Level - build a Church
- Fuel Stall Supply - have a Fuel Supply stall in your Marketplace
- Food Stall Supply - have 2 types of Food Supply stall in your Marketplace
- Clothing Stall Supply - get Linen, Leather, or Yarn
After completing the requirements, click on the Burgage Plot and press the upgrade icon.
How to Upgrade Your Burgage Plots
Artisans are Permanently Assigned
Getting the workshops or extensions for the families in your Burgage Plot will make them Artisans. Note that once this happens, they are permanently assigned and the backyard extension you chose cannot be changed.
Choose carefully or plot out more Burgage Plots and get more families to diversify your family artisans.

Artisans can produce Clothes, Cloaks, and Gambesons |
| Cobbler's Workshop | Cost: 5 Regional Wealth, 5 Planks
Artisans can produce Shoes |
| Joiner's Workshop | Cost: 4 Planks
Artisans can produce Wooden Parts, Small Shields, and Large Shields |
| Armorer's Workshop | Cost: 10 Regional Wealth, 4 Planks
Development Branch: Basic Armormaking Artisans can produce Helmets |
| Fletcher's Workshop | Cost: 4 Planks
Artisans can produce Warbows |
Artisan Extension allows families to create equipment for your militia. This will properly equip your units for war. Extensions will vary in costs, so make sure you have enough resources to add them.

Development Branch: Bakeries Artisans can produce Bread from Flour with this extension much more efficiently than a Communal Oven |

Artisans can produce Ale from Malt |
Artisan Extension allows families to create food resources and commodities, such as Bread or Ale. Both extensions will cost you 5 Regional Wealth and 5 Planks.
