Eliminate All Other Lords

Manor Lords - Claimed Enemy Territories
To win a Domination victory, you'll need to defeat all other lords by claiming their territories. Build up a strong army so that you can take down your adversary and win the game.

Do note that this requires the Off Map Adversary option to be set to Present for this end goal to be playable.

Build Up a Strong Army

Manor Lords - Multiple Retinue
Domination Victories are largely centred around going to war against the opposing lord. This means that you'll need a strong army to win your battles against them. Build up your villages with this in mind so that you can take down your rivals before they get too strong.

Equip Your Units

Manor Lords - Upgrade Unit Armour
To increase your army's effectiveness, you'll have to upgrade their armour first. You can achieve this by equipping Mail and Plate Armour after they've been crafted at an Armorer's Workshop.

Do note that you'll need the Advanced and Master Armormaking Developments first before you can craft them at a workshop.

Import Equipment if You Can't Craft Them

Manor Lords - Import Military Resources
Since upgraded armour sets, like Mail and Plate, are locked behind the Industry Development tree, you may not be able to craft them if you've focused on a different Development tree.

If this is the case, you can Import upgraded armour pieces via a Trading Post. Once you've imported the armour, you can upgrade your Militia and Retinue.

Upgrade your Burgage Plots to Level 3

Manor Lords - Upgrade Burgage Plots
Your Militia will need to be housed in a Level 3 Burgage Plot for them to equip Mail Armour. Make sure that their needs are met and that you have the required materials to upgrade their house.

How to Upgrade Burgage Plot Levels

Max Out Your Militia First

Prioritize filling up your army with Militia units first to maximize the number of units your army can recruit. This is because you can't recruit Militia if you have 6 or more units in your army.

Once you have 6 Militia Units, you can bypass the unit limit by recruiting Retinue and Mercenaries. Just make sure you have enough Treasury to hire and pay for these units.

Claim a Max of One Neutral Territory

Region Influence Cost
Neutral 1000
Claimed 2000

You'll want to save your Influence to claim enemy territories since it will cost twice as much Influence to claim them. If you need to expand your lands, only claim up to one additional region so that you can save up your influence to take over your opponent's lands instead.
