Restoring the Peace is the scenario template we recommend for players starting Manor Lords for the first time. Restoring the Peace provides the balanced experience between city building, resource management, and warfare.
After claiming victory against the Baron and conquering all regions, you can continue playing in Sandbox mode.
How to Beat Restoring the Peace Scenario
For beginners and players that want to focus on the city building aspect of Manor Lords, we recommend starting with the Rise to Prosperity scenario. There will be no combat, and growing your settlement level to Large Town will be your sole focus.
Rise to Prosperity is perfect for players wanting to get the hang of city building in all stages of the game before engaging in combat.
We recommend On the Edge for players looking for a challenge. On the Edge also requires you to reach the Large Town level for your settlement, but raiders will attack you much earlier, and much more frequently.
On Default Difficulty, raiders will begin to attack after 1 year. Thus, your goal is to grow your settlement, while staving off raiders that attack your settlement to steal resources.
