How to Get Yarn

Acquire Yarn From Weaver's Workshop

Yarn can be produced by a “Weaver's Workshop” using Wool.

Construct Weaver's Workshops Near Established Sheep Farms

Yarn is a resource which can be converted from Wool, so it is recommended that you costruct a Weaver's Workshop near any established Sheep Farm in your settlement. This will help hasten the production of Yarn.

Wool Becomes Unavailable During Winter Season

Sheep shearing is not allowed during the Winter season, so acquiring Wool produced by Sheep Farms will not be available unless you opt to import the resource from any established Trading Post in your settlement.

Crafting Material for Cloaks

Yarn can be used to produce the following items using the Tailor's Workshop.

After you've constructed a Tailor's Workshop in your settlement, you will be able to convert Yarn into Cloaks.

Tailor's Workshops Require You to Raise Your Burgage Plots to Level 2

A Tailor's Workshop Backyard Extension will require you to level up your Burgage Plots to Level 2 in order to be constructed. Once the extension is built, all Settlers working on the workshop will be converted into Artisans.
