In Manor Lords, Oxen are valuable to the transportation of goods within your settlement. See to learn about how to remove dead Oxen from your settlement and what to do if you cannot purchase any more Oxen in this guide!
List of Contents
When an Ox dies, there are no prompts to remove its carcass from your settlement through either a burial process or a corpse pit.
Currently, the only way to resolve this is to either load a previous save point, or to demolish its Hitching Post or Stable in order to permanently remove its remains.
Oxen are the backbone of your settlement. They are responsible for logistics and construction, which makes their existence important to the prosperity of your village.
In the event that one of your Oxen dies, you may purchase another one for 20 Regional Wealth from a Hitching Post or acquire them through a Livestock Trading Post.
If you are unable to acquire Oxen through Hitching Posts or Livestock Trading Posts, the only current option in Early Access would be to either load an older save file or completely restart your settlement.
