It is untrue that you need to use red tools to acquire organs. Any tool that does damage is eligible, assuming it’s damage type counts. The cloak blades give shredded organs.
It depends on the crest, this tool massively impacts low-range crests like the wanderer but doesn't increase as much to crests like the reaper.
The demo video in this article shows Hornet using.... tools? Doesn't the longclaw extend the distance of your base weapon? I don't think tools are affected...?
Is it just me, or does this amulet extend the impact by about 3%?
You can get this tool from an npc quest in the bottom left of purified ducts, which you can enter from a secret path in the ceiling in memorium, at the rightmost side. For the quest, you need to gather drops by killing enemies with specific tools. I used the longpin for skewered organs, flintslate for seared organs, and the delver's drill for shredded organs.
