I skiped the boss with the fleas and completed act 1. It returned but not in the spot where it would spawn in act 1.
I feel like everyone switched to the reaper crest at this point, despite everyone on reddit saying to use wanderer for some reason
Boss vanished after opening door behind boss, npc still asks to help kill nonexistant boss. Just checking in to see if it drops anything, it seems that opening the now open door is the only thing that happens.
I got here with the fleas and completely skipped moorwing. It returned in the area once the fleas changed location again
You actually need to defeat The Last Judge to enter act 2 tho.
More specifically, in my experience it returned after I began Act 2. (I have *not* had the fleas move on yet as other commenters indicated, nor did I defeat Last Judge, Act 2 itself seemed to be the trigger.)
If you've skipped the boss fight via flee caravan and you later come back via bell beast travel he'll spawn outside of the old windmill were normally a dreg catcher and a thread raker spawn. I haven't seen if the NPC can help if you fight him there
It does not work.
I went around through shellwood and skipped the boss fight forever.
In my save, i focused so much in the Lost fleas, when the Caravan goes to greymoor the Boss fight was disabled, but when I defeated the final judge and made the caravan go to the gate, the moorwing appeared in front of the bellway
I took the flea caravan to Greymoor so it didn't spawn. Once the caravan left again, the next time I went into that room Moorwing was there.
If you do the flea quest and go with them then yes the boss will not appear at the normal location, instead it will appear right outside the bellway station after a while, but I think it's only after you have completed the first act. The boss didn't appear until I took a bellway from the coral chambers to greymoor.
You can also get the simple key early and take the long way to bellhart
There is a way to cheese the fight. If you go back to one of the rooms entrances (specifically the one at the top of the room) after triggering the fight, it'll follow you back there and be unable to hit you. If you have reaper crest equipped (I'm not sure about any others since I only used reaper) you'll be able to hit it through the floor, albeit a bit less consistently than if you were right infront of it
just had it show up on the flat part of the map after fleas moved into Greymoorm, just where you would exit the traveling thing
I ran into the moorwing but ended up putting off the fight for later. After exploring I ended up making it to the area from the other side (through wormways, shellwood, and bellhome) and now the moorwing won't spawn despite not having the fleas present. I'm going to try collecting all the fleas and then moving the camp out of greymoor to see if that makes it appear again.
If you move the fleas he will show up then, this happened to me too.
Moorwing only showed himself up for me after I moved my flea camp to the citadel. I was honestly very surprised a boss even existed in an area I'd frequented many times. (Confirmed flea quest prevents boss and moving the camp has him finally show up)
So I’m a say something Spoilers if you aren’t this far, but the boss is usually there unless the Fleas are there the boss won’t be. So a thing that happened for me to get the boss to spawn back is first you HAVE to kill the Last Judge boss or basically last boss before Act 2, then go back Graymore and go to the open area where the Dreg Catcher, and Thread Raker normally are (or to the left of the bellway), than instead of the enemies being there, the boss will be instead. Hope this helps!
