1. Reach the Jackal's Alley

The Jackal Abandoned Alley Location

Begin the mission by heading to Arrakeen, and proceeding into the village until you find this Abandoned Alleyway at the end of a narrow path in the southwestern part of the village.

2. Find Out How to Talk to the Jackal

Step Guide

The Jackal The Wolf
Go straight ahead upon entering, and speak to the NPC by the entrance. The Wolf will provide you with clues for how speak to The Jackal, with the answer to his riddle being the word, seek.

The Jackal Beggar
Continue past the man towards the intersection and turn right, then speak to the the woman standing in the alley. The Beggar's word will be footprints.

The Jackal The Vulture
Further past this woman is a man standing by the fire. The Vulture will pose a riddle before giving you his word; the answer to the riddle is silence, while his word is worm.

3. Kill the Jackal

Speak to The Jackal

Return to the intersection and head up the path you didn't take to find The Jackal. With all three words, say the phrase “I seek the footprints of the worm.” to him.

This will trigger further dialogue; once the ensuing dialogue and cutscene are done, exit the Alleyway to complete this part of the questline.
