You will need the items listed above to craft items needed to complete A Backup Plan.

2. Craft the Sandbike Inventory Mk1

Step Guide

Sandbike Inventory Mk1 in Assembly Bundle
To start this mission, head to the Research Menu and navigate to the Vehicles Tab. Unlock the Sandbike Assembly Mk1 from this tab, and craft a Sandbike Inventory Mk1 afterwards using 12 Copper Ingot and 7 Advanced Servoks.

Attach the Sandbike Inventory Mk1
With the attachment in your inventory, approach your Sandbike with a Welding Torch in hand. Use the Welding Torch to bring up its interface, then select the Sandbike Inventory Mk1 from your available parts. Weld it to the back of your bike.

3. Craft the Vehicle Backup Tool

Vehicle Backup Tool in Research Menu
Next, head back to the Vehicles Tab to unlock and craft the Vehicle Backup Tool for 8 Copper Ingot and 2 Particle Capacitors.

Store the Bike With the Vehicle Backup Tool
Equip the Vehicle Backup Tool from your item bar, then aim at your Sandike to store it away into the Backup Tool's inventory. You can then place it from the inventory by aiming at a valid open space. Note that you can't store it if the Bike Inventory has Items in it.
