All three bosses have different weaknesses and resistances so plan accordingly and bring along Vaccine-type Digimon that can hit their weaknesses.
Attributes and Elements Compatibility Guide
The following Digimon are recommended for fighting Fugamon, Ogremon, and Hyogamon for the first time in the Rumble in the Underground mission.
| Recommended Digimon | |
|---|---|
Gomamon
|
Penmon
|
The Gomamon starter Digimon is an ideal choice, as it can learn both Marching Fishes and Icicle Edge, which can hit Fugamon's Water and Ice weaknesses. Penmon is also a good choice as it can learn Icicle Edge as well.

Monodramon
|
Agumon
|
Biyomon
|
Monodramon can learn Comet Hammer, which hits Ogremon's Earth weakness. Its Special Skill Knuckle Beater is a powerful move that can deal immense damage simply by virtue of being a Vaccine-type Digimon.
Agumon and Biyomon are solid choices, as they can strike the Fire weakness of both Ogremon and Hyogamon.

Agumon
|
Biyomon
|
Ryudamon
|
Falcomon
|
Agumon and Biyomon's fire skills can hit both Ogremon and Hyogamon's Fire weakness. Likewise, Falcomon's Ninja Blade skill and Ryudamon's Iai Blade are both Steel skills and are good to use against Hyogamon.
The following Digimon are recommended for fighting Fugamon, Ogremon, and Hyogamon for the second time in the War! mission.

Greymon
|
Sorcermon
|
|
Greymon is powerful against Fugamon and Ogremon for exploiting their weakness to Fire with its Mega Flame attack. You can also give Greymon the Comet Hammer attachment skill to deal Earth damage to Fugamon.
To deal with Hyogamon, use Sorcermon's Crystal Cloud skill to hit its weakness to Ice.
It's imperative that you defeat each ogre one by one as fast as possible to reduce the amount of damage coming at you. Follow these tips in order to defeat Fugamon, Ogremon and Hyogamon with relative ease:

Focus all attacks on Fugamon first, as it has low HP compared to Ogremon. Furthermore, if you defeat Fugamon first, Coronamon can then focus its Corona Flame on Ogremon and Hyogamon, who are both weak to fire.
Defeat Hyogamon second, as it also has much lower HP compared to Ogremon. Defeating Fugamon and Hyogamon will then reduce Ogremon's defense, making the rest of the fight much easier.

Bringing all Vaccine-type Digimon into the fight will immediately increase your damage and defense against their attacks.
Furthermore, make sure to bring skills that hit the bosses' weaknesses. Fugamon is weak to Water and Ice, Ogremon is weak to Fire and Earth, and Hyogamon is weak to Fire and Steel. Hitting their weaknesses gives more CP, allowing you to use Cross Arts more often.
Attributes and Elements Compatibility Guide

We recommend equipping Cross Art: Strike to deal immense damage to each boss, allowing you to defeat each one as fast as possible, minimizing damage thrown at you.
Cross Art: Field is a valid but less speedy alternative, as it can buff your defense and allow you to hit a bit harder.
How to Use Cross Arts

Use Aegiomon's Attract Echo to draw damage toward him, sparing the rest of your team from receiving heavy damage. As Aegiomon also knows Heal, he can also serve as both tank and healer, while the rest of your party lays on the damage.
However, Aegiomon will learn Stun Beat Blow mid-battle, which can deal immense damage, on top of Paralyzing the enemy, so use this skill as much as you can.
Debuff skills can greatly turn the battle in your favor, as they give you added survivability and damage output. Use Guard Bind on the boss you're currently focusing on to help bring it down even faster.
When you fight Fugamon, Ogremon, and Hyogamon again in the War! mission, their battle plays out the same way as your first time confronting them. Thus, you can use the same strategies to beat them this time around, albeit with your stronger Digimon.
