Enemies Respawn After a Short Time

Shinjuku Underground Waterway

Enemies automatically respawn after a short period of time when you defeat them in battle. Wait for a few minutes in the area to find the enemies appearing again in their locations.

Head to Another Area and Return to the Previous One

If enemies do not respawn, you can leave the area and head back inside. This resets all the enemy Digimon and materials in the location once you reenter it.

Benefits of Making Enemies Respawn

Gain EXP to Level Up Digimon

Battle Members Screen

Making enemies respawn means you can battle them over and over to gain EXP to level up your Digimon. In addition, your Digimon's Talent level increases as you let them participate in battles.

How to Farm EXP Fast

Increase Scan Rate

Convert Screen

Defeating respawning enemies increases their scan rate, allowing you to recruit them to your party once the rate reaches 100% or more.

Converted Digimon can be added as a battle member or used to synthesize with another Digimon using the Load Enhancements feature.

Every single enemy respawns within 10-15 seconds or so, or all of them instantly when moving to another area and back. The distance from you is what stops them from respawning. In Mega/Mega+ difficulty, the radius is slightly smaller, which allows you in some places to just stand "near" an enemy spawn point and just instantly attack them the moment they respawn in. Though being too near to the spot, they will never respawn, the time counter though always counts down.
