For this battle, it is advisable to bring Digimon resistant to Dianamon's Ice attacks. On top of Ice resistance, it is also advantageous to exploit Dianamon's weakness to Virus, so Virus Digimon with high attack power like Groundramon will prove to be effective against the boss.

Aside from being resistant to Ice, Dragomon and Datamon are also useful for their Dark Attachment Skills, which Dianamon is weak to when it begins charging its strong attack.

  3. Bring Sleep Recovery Items

Assemble Virus Digimon with Wind Attacks

Attack with Wind Attacks

Dianamon is weak to Virus Digimon and Wind attacks, as well as Fire to a lesser degree. With this in mind, make sure your team has Digimon of these attributes to deal quadruple damage to Dianamon and end the battle swiftly.

Interrupt Charged Attack with Electricity and Dark Attacks

Interrupted Charged Attack

When Dianamon begins charging its powerful attack, interrupt it by attacking its body part. This body part is weak to Electricity and Dark attacks, so make sure you have Digimon with the right elemental skills to interrupt Dianamon in this phase.

Bring Sleep Recovery Items

Undo Sleep Effect

Dianamon's attacks can inflict the Sleep effect on your Digimon, making them miss their turns. This can be detrimental when you are trying to interrupt Dianamon's charged attack. To quickly undo the effect, bring Sleep Recovery items or use a Digimon's Meditator skill to clear it up.
