Attributes and Elements Compatibility Guide
The boss fight against Titamon at the end of the Truth Born from An Egg main quest is a scripted fight. The game will still progress normally either by defeating the boss or losing to the boss.
It is recommended to avoid using any items and simply lose the fight to progress the main quest.

We recommend a full team of Vaccine-type Digimon, as they are resistant to Titamon's Virus nature. Vaccine-type Digimon benefit as well from increased damage against Cyclonemon.
You may want to unequip Fire and Light based Attachment Skills from unused Digimon like Goblimon, Huckmon and Guilmon and equip them on your Vaccine type Digimon to give them an edge.
List of All Digimon
For those who wish to prove their mettle, Titamon is a winnable boss fight, and you don't need to grind and overlevel for it, as you only need to prepare accordingly. Follow these tips in order to defeat Titamon:

Titamon is weak to Fire and Light attacks, so bring along digimon with these Special Skills, or at least have them equipped with Fire and Light Attachment Skills.
You'd want to hit its weakness as often as possible to quickly gain CP for your Cross Art gauge.
Attributes and Elements Compatibility Guide

When Titamon begins to "amass power in his massive blade", let your entire team enter a Guard stance to defend against Soul Core Attack, which has the potential to wipe out your team.
We recommend getting Cross Art: Strike to deal immense damage to Titamon, which can greatly speed up the battle in your favor.
Likewise, using Cross Art: Field right before Titamon uses Soul Core Attack can increase your defense, granting you added survivability to this devastating attack.
How to Use Cross Arts

Keep healing at the ready, as Titamon's Soul Core Attack skill does a ton of damage, which you will need to recover from. We recommend equipping most if not all of your Digimon with the Heal skill, as well as stocking up on HP Capsules.
Using buff and debuff skills can greatly turn the battle in your favor, as they give you added survivability and damage output.
Attack Bind and Guard Bind are great at lowering Titamon's defensive and offensive capabilities, while Wormmon's Sticky Net can increase the amount of turns you get. You may also use Aegiomon's Attract Echo ability to direct damage towards him.
