Digimon Story Time Stranger Best Agent Skills
A list of the best Agent Skills to unlock in Digimon Story Time Stranger. See the ranking of the best Agent Skills for each category and which Agent Skill to obtain first in this guide.

Best Agent Skills to Unlock First

Prioritize the Bonds of Loyalty Skills First

Bonds of Loyalty Agent Skill Priority List

Make sure to get the Bonds of Loyalty first, as the effects of these can have buffs for all of your Digimon and have Cross Arts which have amazing in-combat effects.

Get the EXP and Stat Boost Agent Skills per Agent Rank First

Digimon Level Agent Rank
In-Training Available at Start
Rookie Available at Start
Champion, Armor, and Human/Beast Spirits 3
Ultimate and Hybrid Spirits 5

Prioritize getting the Education and Body Boost Agent Skills first as these give the most value. Do note that you can allocate Anomaly Points on other skills if you have not reached the proper Agent Rank for the higher rank Digimon.

If you have the Outer Dungeon DLCs, the value of EXP Agent Skills does diminish, so feel free to get the Cross Arts you need first.

Get the Cross-Arts and Boosts After

Use Cross Arts.png

Cross-Arts are great, but don't really change the game until much later. Try to get Cross Art: Break and Cross Art: Aura first, then depending what your team shapes up to be and playstyle, unlock the others as you see fit.
Best Cross Arts

Ignore the In-Training Education and Body Boost Agent Skills

In-Training Digimon

Dont waste Anomaly Points on the In-Training Education and Body Boost Agent Skills, you already have access to Rookie Digimon at the start, so just level those up instead.

Cross Art: High Field

Cross Art: High Field Teaches Cross Art: High Field
Effect: Greatly boosts at allies' stats for 3 turns and nullifies physical/magic damage for 1 turn.
100 Anomaly Points

Cross Art: High Field can only be unlocked if you have all three Boost Skills connected to it. It is also worth 100 Anomaly Points, so you need to wait until end-game to get this.

Best Valor Agent Skills Priority

# Personality Agent Skill Evaluation
1 Digivolution
Make sure to course your paths on getting these first! These will reduce the stats you need to Digivolve, making it easier to build and branch out to other paths without wasting much time at the farm.
2 Brave Blow
Specific Personality Digimon will get specific buffs. Brave Blow is the only notable one as it gives Brave Personality Digimon DEF Piercing on all their Physical Attacks
3 Peerless Perception
The Personality Skill Extra Strikes Tech, gives you an additional attack on top of the two you already get just by having a Valor Personality.
4 Study of Skills
Boosts EXP when grinding. If you have the Outer Dungeon DLCs, these can be mostly ignored.
5 Sagacious Study
Boosts Talent obtained for each Personality. This determines the level-cap for each Digimon which affects cumulative stats. Makes maxing out stats easier.
6 HP, ATK, and SP Body Boost
Boosts for the main stat mostly needed for each Personality. Valor Personality Digimon focus on dealing Physical attacks, so focus on ATK, HP, and SP for survivability and damage.
7 Farm Adaptation and Crash Course

8 Extra Strikes Tech

9 Reckless Strength Charm

10 Zealous Defense and Daring Wall
Just gives Zealous and Daring more survivability when Guarding, which already reduces damage. It's batter to invest on a healer that can Overheal with Great Embrace.

13 Perfection Skills
Can only be unlocked if you have all the Skills connected to it, mostly post-game. Anomaly Point costs are high, so prioritize getting Brave Perfection first for your DPSes, then just unlock the rest as you go.

The Valor tree is focused on Digimon that have specialties in offensive capabilities. This tree aims to provide the best value per each skill you can take from the Valor skill tree to maximize your Anomaly point for your Digimon with the Valor personalities.

10 DEF and SPI Body Boost
Increase SPI for for Hybrid DPSes like LadyDevimon and Sirenmon where you want to do healing but also damage. DEF is good just for the survivability.
11 SPD and INT Body Boost

Increases damage dealt by Extra Strikes. Only boosts damage, but not the Status Ailment provided by a perfect follow-up.
13 Perfection Skills

Yes! You can obtain all agent skills in one run without the need for New Game+. You'll just have to complete all main missions as well as side quests in the game to obtain enough Anomaly Points.
