Dokugumon is a great choice for this fight, as it has a ton of Plant skills that can do physical and magic damage, like Venom Blast and Thorn Strike II.
Vegiemon also works well, as it can learn Crescent Leaf II and also Guard Bind, which can reduce the boss' defense.
Gazimon, on the other hand, can learn wind skills like Wind Claw to hit UltimateBrachiomon's Wind weakness.
How to Beat UltimateBrachiomon
Follow these steps in order to beat UltimateBrachiomon:
- Use Virus Type Digimon with Plant and Wind Skills
- Take Note of Its Changing Physical and Magic Resistances
- Use Aura or Break Cross Arts
- Use Character Reversal on Aegiomon
- Use Buffs and Debuffs
Use Virus Type Digimon with Plant and Wind Skills
Bring along a full team of Virus-type Digimon equipped with Plant and Wind skills to hit its weaknesses. Virus type Digimon will resist damage more effectively than other types.

Take Note of Its Changing Physical and Magic Resistances
UltimateBrachiomon will often change around its resistances to physical and magic attacks. To counteract this, bring along a good mix of Physical and Magic attacks.
For example, even if it is weak to Plant, it will still resist a Plant physical attack when it is currently resisting physical attacks, so use a magic attack instead.
Attributes and Elements Compatibility Guide
Use Aura or Break Cross Arts
We recommend using Cross Art: Aura to heal your team, since at this point in the game, HP Capsule I starts to become less effective and HP Capsule II are still quite rare and expensive.
However, if you have a decent amount of healing skills in your team's arsenal, you can use Cross Art: Break to decrease the boss' stats, making it much easier to deal damage to.

Use Character Reversal on Aegiomon
Aegiomon is a Vaccine-type character, making him a bad match for this boss. Use the Character Reversal Attachment Skill to swap around his affinities for a few turns, allowing him to properly tank damage for you with Attract Echo.
Also casting Guard Field on him will also give him a bit of added survivability.
Use Buffs and Debuffs
To further tilt the fight in your favor, use debuffs like Attack Bind and Guard Bind to reduce this boss' attack and defense. These debuffs can help offset its changing resistances to physical and magic damage.
