Susanomon the Hero can be unlocked during the The Final Battle Over the Natural Order Main Mission. You'll also need to finish the Side Missions, A Gift from the Hosts and The Forgetful Helpers, to unlock it. This is part of The Helper from Shambala side mission chain.

Talk to Susanomon

To start Susanomon the Hero, Time Jump to Factorial Town (Present Day), then head to the Paradise Colosseum and speak with Susanomon.

Talk to Volcanomon and select Hero from Shambala from the Challenger List.

Defeat Susanomon to advance.

Talk to Susanomon again to complete the mission. This is also the final side mission chain required to progress in The Helper from Shambala side mission.

A team of Data Type Digimon with Earth skills is recommended for this fight as Susanomon is weak to both this attribute and element. If you do not have enough Data Types, you can bring Vaccine Type Digimon since they can deal neutral damage.

Make sure to include a healer with high SPI such as Dianamon since Susanomon’s attacks like Yakusa no Ikazuchi can inflict significant damage.

It is also important to use buffs and debuffs such as Attack Charge or Guard Charge to strengthen your team, and Attack Bind or Guard Bind to weaken Susanomon’s offense and defense.
