As a Virus Digimon and one of the Seven Great Demon Lords, Barbamon is weak to Vaccine Digimon and Light. With this in mind, it would be beneficial to assemble a team that exploits Barbamon's Evil trait, which is on the receiving end of increased damage when hit by Light attacks. This makes Digimon like Aegiochusmon Holy and MaganAngemon natural counters to Barbamon as their skills can deal five times more damage to the boss.

However, it is also a good idea to have a Digimon like Taomon to resist Barbamon's Dark attacks while also dealing high damage against it.

Use Vaccine and Light Against Barbamon

Barbamon is weak to Vaccine Digimon and susceptible to Water and Light attacks. However, it takes increased damage from Light, so prepare a team of Digimon with skills of this element to exploit and counter its Evil trait. Take advantage of these weaknesses to effectively defeat Barbamon.

Counter Barbamon

During the battle, Barbamon will cast Character Reversal on itself, reversing its resistances to attributes and elements. When this happens, it becomes weak to Data Digimon and Dark attacks. Make sure you have a reserve team of Digimon with these traits once Barbamon performs this skill.
