The battle against Chronomon can be grueling without the aid of healer Digimon that can recover your team's HP and remove status ailments as well as debuffs. In this case, it becomes crucial to have at least one Digimon with the special skill to perform either or both modes of recovery.
Thus, MarineAngemon and ExTyrannomon are excellent units for this battle as their Ocean Love and Pretty Attack skills, respectively, perform both recovery functions. If it will take too much time evolving a Digimon to the Mega MarineAngemon, you can settle for ExTyrannomon instead as it is only an Ultimate-generation Digimon.
Chronomon is an extremely powerful and durable No Data-type enemy that is the final boss of the game. Follow the tips below to learn how to defeat Chronomon effectively:

The final boss battle against Chronomon features guest Digimon from the Olympos XII fighting alongside you and dealing massive damage every turn. To prevent your allies from being defeated and losing the battle early, it is recommended to build a team centered around Digimon with high durability, leaving the offensive work to the guest members in your party.
If you can, use an assortment of defensive Attachment Skills and Enhancements on your Digimon to better endure the battle against Chronomon.

Because Chronomon has flat resistances across every element and attribute, you are not limited to assembling your team around a specific strategy. However, you can still exploit Chronomon's weaknesses by bringing Digimon that deal extra damage to Chronomon's traits: Large, Evil, Deity, and Dragon.
You can check if your Digimon's special skills deal extra damage to these traits by reading their descriptions in the Setup menu on your Digivice. You may also read them during the battle while selecting skills on your turn.

Chronomon's first two HP bars will not fully deplete, so you must rely on balancing between offense and defense to get through both bars. This will be mitigated by guest members of the Olympos XII dealing the bulk of your team's damage output. By the time Chronomon reaches its third HP bar, this is where you will have to defeat it until its HP touches zero.

In the event that Aegiomon is knocked out during the battle, immediately revive it. This is because Aegiomon's passive skill is crucial to regenerating your entire team's HP, allowing you to endure the whole fight against Chronomon. Not only that, Aegiomon's Aegiochusmon Holy evolution deals extra damage against Chronomon with its Lightning Shower skill.
Chronomon frequently unleashes AoE attacks, so stock up on group healing items at the shop to ensure you can recover every turn. Status ailments mainly consist of status debuffs and Confusion, so having at least one Digimon capable of curing status ailments, as well as healing, is recommended.
Preparing the necessary skills and items in advance is crucial as the entire battle forbids you from gaining CP for your Cross Arts, preventing you from recovering your team with them.
