What Does Talent Do?

What Does Talent Do

Talent is an essential feature that determines the level cap of your Digimon. Check this guide to learn what talent is and what it does in the game!

What Does Talent Do?

Represents a Digimon's Level Limit

What Is Talent

Talent is the numerical representation of your Digimon's level limit. Similar to Bonds, it can be increased by a variety of ways whether it be through battle, Digivolution, or training at the DigiFarm.

Unlike Bonds, however, Talent does not directly increase a Digimon's cumulative stats. Instead, Talent allows your Digimon to gain more levels to accumulate more EXP and improve their stats.

Increases Digimon's Level Cap

Talent and Level Cap

Talent fundamentally increases a Digimon's level cap. Whenever you increase your Talent by one point, your Digimon gains one extra level as a result. This continues until the Digimon reaches its max level cap at Lv. 99, which is indicated by a value of 100 in the Talent bar on that Digimon's profile.

Talent Does Not Increase with Mode Change

Digimon like Ceresmon and Bacchusmon that undergo Mode Change retain their Talent from their base forms. You can see this in the note of a selected Digimon's profile in the Digivolution screen.
