The Gomamon starter is a solid choice against this boss, as it can use Marching Fishes and Icicle Edge. Tentomon is also great, as it resists Greymon's Awesome Quake skill and can use the electricity skill Super Shocker. ToyAgumon is also a good choice, with its Plastic Blaze skill.

While Greymon is charging for its onslaught, you can swap out your current team with these Digimon, which can take advantage of the Head Shell's weakness to Plant, Wind and Light.
Terriermon can deal tons of damage with Terrier Tornado and Sonic Shot, Tentomon can deal Plant damage with Thorn Strike, and Wormmon can also deal Plant damage via Sticky Net, which has the added benefit of reducing Greymon's SPD.

Hit Greymon's Elemental Weaknesses
Greymon is weak to Water, Ice, Electricity, and Null, so make sure your team is comprised mostly of Vaccine-type Digimon that are equipped with any of these elemental skills.

Use Cross Arts on Greymon's Head Shell
We recommend equipping a Cross Art that is capable of dealing damage to Greymon while it is charging up for its special attack. Either Cross Art: Burst or Cross Art: Strike should deal heavy damage to Greymon's Head Shell.
Note that Minervamon assists you by dealing a ton of damage to Greymon's Head Shell so it is possible to destroy it simply by hitting its weaknesses with regular skills.

Avoid Using Digimon Weak to Earth
Greymon uses a multi-target skill called Awesome Quake, which deals Earth damage to your entire party. Avoid using Digimon weak to this ability, as they will receive increased damage.

Digimon Team@Game8 7 daysUpon testing again, the page has the correct weakness/resistance chart for Greymon (Blue) boss version. Since Greymon (Blue) is a Virus Digimon, it might be that you used Ice/Water attacks with a Data Digimon making it look like it was resistant to those elements. Virus is resistant to Data so when you use Ice/Water attacks from Data Digimon on Greymon (Blue), the elemental effectiveness cancels out since he is more resistant to Data than he is weak to Ice/Water.
